Hello and Welcome

Howdy, my name is Tylah Rosie - Jayne Smith, I am 17 years old and I live in Nottingham, England.

I am lucky enough to live with both of my perents, I am one of the only a few people I know that still do, I also live with my older sister that is 20, my younger brother age 12, my beautiful cat Pippin and my awesome snail Gizmo.

I am a extremely opinionated girl who loves and has a passion for animals. I love to help, teach and motivate others. I am courteous, well mannered and I am proud to say I have created my own life and have chose exactly who I want to be.

I have many dreams such as to travel the world, observe and research wild animal behaviours and to be the very best that I can be.
I have always said that when I grow up I want to work with animals and that has never changed, except for that period when I really wanted to be a postman but I grew out of that and I no that the only thing I can and want to do is work with animals, whether it be a on a farm, at a rescue or in a zoo I not I need animals in my life to be happy and that's all I want.

As much as I want to start working now I no its going to be a slow process to get the qualifications that I need so for now I am working hard at my college in England Studying animal care level 2 as I did level one last year and my tutors and I have high hopes to get me onto level 3 next year . :D

I am a extremely hard worker, always willing to learn new skills and since I left school in 2012 I have had 3 voluntary jobs and always to at a time, until just a few weeks ago. My first, Attenborough Nature Centre, which is the building located at Attenborough nature reserve. the centre has class rooms, a cafĂ© and a gift shop where I worked behind the till needless to say I did not enjoy it very much as I have really bad social anxiety and my customer service was really bad. I worked there for almost a year until I could no longer afford to go. at the same time I also had my second voluntary job at a rescue, the rescue was run by a lad at her home and I went there once a week to help clean, feed and socialise with the animals, I learnt so much there and I am so thankful for the opportunity's that she gave me, she had to close her rescue due to lack of funds. my last voluntary job and the one I am still currently at is at Manor Farm and Woodlands, It is the dream placement for any animal care student who is wanting experience with a wide range of awesome animals I work with horses, ponies, pigs, llamas, goats, sheep, donkeys, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, rats, chickens, ducks and peafowl. and any animals that the farm rescues like baby birds, swans and foxes. It is very hard work which includes a lot of exercise but it is so fun whether your catching sheep to trim there feet or casing the pigs to bed it is so rewarding and an amazing learning opportunity.

Anyway, now you know a bit about what I do an who I am.
I hope to keep updating this blog on any topics that come up in my life.

Soo...Thank you :)

Stay Safe, Stay Strong.
